The techniques I use are NOT typical relaxation massage techniques. Instead, they are a customized combination of manual osteopathic therapies I have learned and continue to learn at the Ursa Foundation (now ANS Balance HRV and Kinections Educational Institute). Ursa’s approach to treatment is based on their philosophy that all the body’s systems are interconnected and treatment needs to consider and address them all to be successful.
I limit my use of these manual therapy techniques to the scope of practice of massage therapy.
Each treatment is always unique, even for returning clients. However, there are basic elements common to each one: an updated health history, an in-depth postural analysis and biomechanical movement screen, and use of a blend of manual osteopathic techniques appropriate for the client at that time.
We are no longer putting everyone on a heating pad prior to their appointments. We have received feedback that our clients prefer beginning their treatment at their scheduled time and finishing a maximum of 30 min after to resume their commitments for the day.
We will no longer be provide treatments for clients who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their treatment. Clients who arrive later than 10 minutes after their scheduled time will be charged full price for their treatment.
Please let us know if you have an emergency that will not allow you to arrive on time for your appointment so we can reschedule you.
Returning Clients (30 min): $100
New Clients (45 min) $160
Treatments may include:
In-depth Postural/Gait Analysis
Sport/Performance-specific Manual Therapy
Chapman’s, Bennett’s, Pottenger’s Reflexes
Muscle Energy Technique
Trigger Point Therapy
Per our office policies–if you arrive late for your appointment your treatment will not be pro-rated. It will still end at the scheduled time and be full price. Anyone who arrives later than 10 minutes after their scheduled time WILL NOT be treated, and WILL still be charged for their appointment. For our complete office policies, see the “policies and forms” section.
**I do not offer Swedish/relaxation massages. If you want a Swedish/relaxation massage, we can refer you to an excellent massage therapist who provides that service.**

I do not treat anyone who is involved in any kind of personal injury situation (car accidents, workmen's compensation or any other kind), litigation (lawsuits) for injuries/illness, or anyone who plans to sue anyone for injuries/illness. I don't get involved in anyone's legal matters under any condition.
There are NO EXCEPTIONS, including individuals who want to be treated here and pay out of pocket instead of having an insurance company pay on their behalf, related to an accident.
*For any current clients who have been involved in an accident where there is an open insurance claim or any other kind of ongoing legal entanglement for illness or injuries/disabilities, please contact us right away so we can pause your treatments and refer you to an excellent therapist who treats patients involved in insurance claims or litigation.
I know this is disappointing news, and I sincerely apologize that I am not able to provide care in these situations. I am a solo therapist with many clients, and I have had multiple experiences in these matters. Unfortunately, responding to subpoenas and mandated court appearances result in severe disruption of care to my many other clients, many of whom are under time constraints for their own therapy.
Clients whose legal matters regarding treatment are COMPLETELY RESOLVED must contact our office to discuss their change in status before scheduling.
